EA Games has Ruined SimCity

When I first learned that a new SimCity was in the works suddenly the world looked like a brighter place. You can imagine my disappointment when I learned more about the game's "Online Only" "feature". It's not the DRM that bothers me so much (although we could do without that too). It's the fact that I can no longer play the game when I want wherever I want. I am restricted to playing SimCity on an Internet connected PC. My saved cities aren't stored locally, but instead kept on EA's servers. Simulation is done partly on my PC and mostly on EA's servers.

Patents and Copyright Hinder Advancement

In the last couple of centuries, the advancement of our knowledge and technology has been slowing down. Not because everything that could be invented has already been invented, or because people are running out of ideas. No, It's due to artificial ideological limits that silly humans are imposing on themselves.

Block Experts Exchange

How many times have you searched on Google for a solution to a problem, then landed on the "Experts Exchange" website only to find out you can't see the answer you are looking for.  If you are like many other frustrated Internet users out there who come across that stupid Expert Sex Change (LOL!) website, I have some great news.

Add another $5 to the already long list of banking fees.
