Egypt Issues Arrest of US-based Egyptians Over 1st Amendment

The United States will soon find itself in a difficult situation. As many of you have already learned, a movie trailer for an amateur made anti-Muslim film was released on YouTube a few weeks ago. My opinions on that film are mixed, and the reactions from the two sides are both silly yet understandable. Christians and Muslims have acted inappropriately now and several times in the past. It's important to respect the beliefs of others. It's also important to remain civilized, non-violent, and to "respect the beliefs of others".

Government FAILS - Individual Mandate Upheld

Today, freedom has died a little more. In the United States, Obama's individual mandate forcing people to purchase a product from private companies has been upheld. No matter how the decision was worded (they call it a tax), the end result is the same. Our government can now force U.S. citizens to buy a product.

United States Creating "Spy Viruses" (FLAME)

The idea that The United States of America purposely created a virus and infected thousands of computers sounds far fetched. However, if you've been listening to the news these last few months you may have come across something called "FLAME". FLAME is highly complex virus/malware that is so well written that even I am amazed at what it does. FLAME is the type of virus I would have written if given the motivation. From voice recording, to Bluetooth device snooping, it's definitely a virus that wants to spy on you.

Twitter to Censor Tweets

It's a sad day for freedom; Twitter the popular micro blogging service has decided to put forth plans to censor the 'tweets' across various regions of the globe. The move sounds very similar to what the movie studios currently do with DVD and film releases. Will this be the beginning of the end for Twitter?

The Internet's Fatal Flaw

The Internet was created to allow the free flow of information, speech, knowledge, and ideas.  Unfortunately, our Internet is under attack by greedy corporation and repressive governments.  Not surprising, the major source of these attacks are coming from the United States.

Obama

It goes to show you that it's not who you are or what you believe in that gets you elected as president.  Mr. Obama has shown me one thing, and it's that the race to become president is nothing more than a contest to see who spends the most money.  Seriously, it surprises me that the United States public voted for this looser.
